Ashley B. Zhang is a second-year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She pursued her undergraduate studies in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, and Biochemistry the University of Toronto in Canada. She then went on to complete her Master of Science researching ALS at the Tanz Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases. Prior to medical school, she worked as a Study Coordinator in trigeminal neuralgia research. She is passionate about mentorship and medical education. In her free time, Ashley can be found exploring Philly’s food scene, hiking, doodling, and trying to teach her friends Canadian slang, eh.
